1.2 is not a patch, instead it is a full installer. Therefore, it is vital that you uninstall the previous version of BFP2 from your hard drive.

Added ?Tickrate= option to each GameType string to adjust server tickrate.
Top 10 Maps
Increased to a maximum of 30 maps depending on mapname length.
WaitForLevel
This option has been put back in the IniOnly section and is used for slower servers that tend to dump their players if the level takes to long to changeover.
Default is 60, but if difficulties are experienced, this should be incresed to 90.
Spectator Spying.
This is a new feature which has been added both Serverside and Clientside.
When enabled on both sides and a Spectator is viewing a player, that Player will be notified via a message on his/her screen that they are being viewed.
When the Spectator switches their view to another player, the previous player will also be notified that he/she is no longer being viewed by that particular player.
Settings
[UT2Vote57.UT2VoteIniOnly]
bSpectatorSpy=True
If the Admin sets this serverside setting as False all Spectator Spying will be disabled regardless of the Clientside settings.
ClientMenu
Allow Spy Messages
Here the player has the option of checking or unchecking this option.
If unchecked no messages will appear should a spectator be viewing this player.
Game-Types
Airborne will ship with 3 game-types out-of-the-box at release: Team Deathmatch (TDM), "Airborne" TDM, and "Airborne" Objective.
The first two are very similar. In Team Deathmatch, both teams spawn on the ground and compete for kills. The winning team is the one with the most kills at the end of the time limit, or the first team to reach a pre-determined kill (frag) limit. In Airborne TDM, the twist is that while the Axis still spawn on the ground, the Allies now spawn in the air, and parachute in to wherever they choose on the map. Axis forces will be able to shoot at the Allies as they drop in, however there is a form of protection logic in the game. More about that in the Gameplay section.
Airborne Objective is poorly named, as it has very little to do with the classic Objective (OBJ) mode we all know from previous MOH's on PC. It is instead more like BF2's method of flag-capturing, or COD's Domination mode. In Airborne Objective, there are 3 flags on the map, the Axis spawn on the ground, and the Allies spawn in the air. 1 flag is in the Axis spawn, 1 is on the other side of the map (referred to as the Allied spawn/flag for simplicity), and 1 is centrally located. The flags at either end of the map only need 1 player to capture them, by standing in close proximity for several seconds. The flag will change colour (red for Axis, blue for Allies) depending on who controls it, and there are 3 circular indicator icons at the top of the screen which change colour in the same way to show progress/ownership of the flags. The middle flag requires 2 players to be there at the same time to capture it. The winning team is the one to capture and hold all 3 flags simultaneously. With players working properly as a team, and the Allies' ability to airdrop into whatever area they desire, this mode can be a lot of fun. Teamwork is essential however, as you won't survive long as a lone-wolf.
... along with new weapons, some new maps are also already in development, and part of the plan to be released sometime post-launch. ...
... New game-types are also part of the plan to add additional new content to Airborne through future patches and updates. ...
Problem: The game will stop installing at the Ageia physics driver phase.
Fix: Some people have tried reverting to the previous Ageia physics driver and the game has installed fine after that.
Problem: Windows Vista 64-bit officially not supported.
Fix: Although it's not supported, many people with this version of Vista are able to install and play the game just fine.
Problem: The game is speeding up and everything is moving very fast.
Fix: If you have AMD, try disabling dual cores and/or download the AMD Dual Core Optimizer. Some have also said that uninstalling the Bioshock hotfix will correct the problem as well. Also, update your PC drivers.
Problem: The point-of-view is spinning and spiraling out of control.
Fix: This seems to be peripheral-related. Remove any joystick or other USB related device. Try unplugging and replugging in your mouse and keyboard.
Problem: When the demo is unpacked, your PC will reboot.
Fix: When extracting the demo you'll see a path which you can't change. Go to that location after the computer has rebooted (you might have to turn the option "show hidden files/maps" on). "MOH Setup" will be temporarily located in a TEMP folder called "RarSFX." It seems that this bug had somthing to do with the change between WinRAR vs. EA installer. --Thx, Calle.
Problem: During gameplay, screen goes black, audio still playing.
Fix: Minimize game, check system tray for errors regarding video drivers. If so, go into into nVidia control panel (or ATI equivalent), manage 3d settings, select MOH Airborne, and on multidisplay /mixed-GPU accerelation, set it to single display performance mode.
Problem: PC will freeze/lock up after a few minutes on Nvidia card users, and/or with dual core processors.
Fix: Download nhancer and disable dual core. This might help those high end machines that are jamming up. Disabling SLI (tickbox) in the nVidia control panel may help some others.
Problem: I'm getting a laggy response in-game, and my CPU usage is up near 100%.
Fix: See if you have any video software suites for a camcorder or other video device. Try to uninstall it. Including, but not limited to: Cyberlink DVD, PowerCinema NE, PowerProducer 3, PowerDirector 5, Digital Photo Navigator 3.0
Problem: I've tried almost everything and am still getting lag or mouse-lag in-game.
Fix: Although it sounds simple, take some time to keep unplugging/re-attaching your mouse AND keyboard (especially if it's a Logitech G15). This is causing issues for some users, and removing them, then plugging them in again has fixed the problem for some.
