I was looking forward to Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood. It's the prequel to the Wild West 2006 action shooter Call of Juarez. I played the original Call of Juarez demos but found they crashed a lot which put me off. I had faith in this prequel though and bought it on release day. I was hoping they would release a solid western style shooter considering they already had a title to get feedback on etc. The result was positive and I've played many hours without a single crash :)

There was one thing though that annoyed me (besides the lack of server cvars)... the crosshair_helper... that ugly circle right in the middle of the screen! For me it is so bad I couldn't play it. It ruined the immersion for me. I would have liked some menu options for the croshair setup.

Anyway, I put together a small simple mod to remove the hud_crosshair_helper. It works for single and multiplayer. Multiplayer servers do not require the file for a client to use it.
